Protecting wolves means protecting the ecosystem. The Himalayan Wolves Project is evolving into the Himalayan Carnivore Project and continues to do what it does best: study Himalayan wolves and coexisting carnivores to inform and advance nature conservation. The Project works to build the scientific basis for protecting carnivores, their prey, and habitats in the Himalayas. We apply interdisciplinary methods and work in close collaboration with the traditional mountain communities to ensure that these vast and pristine high-altitude ecosystems remain intact for many generations to come.
